Marc Berthold
Program Director, Environment and Global Dialogue, Heinrich Böll Foundation
Marc Berthold works as the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Program Director for Environment and Global Dialogue. He leads the office's activities on Energy, Climate Change, Sustainable Development and Global Environmental Governance. In that capacity, he manages content development, the budget, organizes conferences and visitors programs, networks with civil society organizations and works with international institutions such as the United Nations in New York and various UN agencies located in Washington DC and New York. Marc joined the Washington office in 2001. He holds an M.A. in Political Science from the Albertus-Magnus-University, Cologne, Germany.
