Bryan Garcia

Biography
Bryan Garcia works with grassroots non-profit organizations, foundations, and public agencies to initiate and manage social and environmental investments and projects that create awareness of clean energy and its benefits to society. His interest is in sustainable enterprises that create economic value, respect the environment and contribute to social development. Mr. Garcia brings to his position more than 15 years' experience in community development projects. Prior to joining Connecticut Innovations in August 2000, Mr. Garcia worked as an intern at General Electric in its Corporate Environmental Programs Division auditing and evaluating domestic and international business units and training programs. He also served as a United States Peace Corps volunteer in the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of the Ministry of the Environment as an NGO advisor and environmental educator. Mr. Garcia’s education includes a BS from the University of California at Berkeley in Political Economy of Natural Resources; a MEM from Yale University School of Forestry and Environmental Studies in Industrial Environmental Management; a MPA from New York University Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in Public and Nonprofit Management; as well as a MBA from New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business in Finance.
