Malik Amin Aslam Khan

Malik Amin Aslam Khan, born in Karachi on November 27, 1966, has been elected MNA for his first term as a PML(Q) candidate. His educational qualifications include a B.Sc. Electrical Engineering degree from University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore in 1990 and an M.B.A in Finance from McGill University , Canada in 1993, followed by an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from Oxford University , U.K in 1996. Malik Amin Aslam Khan was awarded the Col. Abid Gold Medal by Aitchison College in 1990 and is also a member of the International Editorial Board of Climate Policy Journal. He is the Minister of State for Environment Division. An Agriculturist/Environment Consultant by profession, he has served as a member of the Government of Pakistan Environmental Advisory Board since 1999 and Editorial Board of the Climate Policy Journal since 1998. He has also served as a member of the UN Working Group on Climate Change since 1997. Married with two sons and a daughter, he has travelled to U.S.A, Canada , Chile and several countries within Europe including France , Germany and U.K. His hobbies include scuba diving and sky diving. Malik Amin Aslam Khan is a member of the Young Parliamentarians Forum (YPF) of Pakistan .
