Antonella Battaglini
Scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research
Antonella Battaglini holds an MA in literature and an MBA in general management. Since 2001 she has been working as a scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research. She is currently leading the EU-China process which aims at identifying policy interventions for mutual benefits in the field of energy security and climate security. She is co-leader of the research project PREVENT, which aims at defining and preventing dangerous climate change in view of Article 2 of the UNFCCC. She is inter alia core team member of the European Climate Forum (ECF). Previously she has gained ten years experience in the pharmaceutical industry in national and transnational management. The perspective she has gained from academe, industry and the arts helps her to provide fresh thinking and insights when working with people from many walks of life.
