Biography

Member of parliament since 1998. Member of the Party Council of Bündnis 90/Die Grünen. Married and father of two children. Reinhard Loske studied Political Science and Economics at the universities of Paderborn, Nottingham and Bonn. Diploma degree in Economics from the University of Paderborn, Doctoral Degree in Political Economy from the University of Kassel and "Habilitation" (post-doctoral teaching qualification) at the Free University of Berlin. Worked as banker, Policy Advisor and government official. Staffmember of the Wuppertal Institute (1992-1998), and as Senior Researcher for climate policy and Sustainable Development. Visiting Professor at the Free University of Berlin since 1999. Primary topics of focus: project leadership of the Sustainable Germany study, sustainability, climate protection, North-South politics. Member of the curator committee of the "Future Sustainability" Foundation, and member of the Association of German Scientists.
