Peter West

Director of Renewable Energy, Energy Trust of Oregon

Peter West is the Director of Renewable Energy for the Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO). He came to ETO from Renewable Northwest Project (RNP), an environmental organization supporting renewable energy, where he was assistant director. Before joining RNP in 1995, Peter was a supervisory regional economist for Bonneville Power Administration, where he led the development of economic, demographic and electricity demand forecasts and analysis. He serves on the board of the Climate Trust and was a founding member of the Oregon Rivers Council (now Pacific Rivers Council). Peter has a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Maine and a master's degree in agricultural and resource economics from Oregon State University.
